Heroes of the Faith | Elijah

Elijah was a great prophet for God. He faced many battles of fear. But he learned that our perspective tends to shape our reality. When Elijah’s perspective shifted from faith to fear, he ran for his life. Perspective is a choice: we are only alone if we choose to be alone! God is always with us, and God’s plan is always better than our own. Elijah would encourage us to let go of our fears by placing our problems in God’s hands. When we do, God promises to direct our path and provide for our needs.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” (Hebrews 12:1)
