King Belshazzar was full of pride, rebellion, and selfishness. Through the story of God taking this king down in Daniel 5, we’ll see God’s verdict on all of humanity: Despite our best efforts, we could not do enough, and this reality is crushing. However, in Christ, all our insufficiency is swallowed up in his goodness.
