Joy

Psalms 126:1-6
Joy and happiness so often get interchanged; however, they are not the same. We have all experienced happiness, only to have it quickly snatched away. Joy is resilient. Joy withstands the hurts and disappointments. The coming of Christ reminds us of His good works. We get the opportunity, through relationship with Him, to bring our triumphs and disappointments before Him. In doing so, we take hold of His future hope. This leads to the deep joy He has made available to those that follow after Him.
